Enter via commenting on this article in East Wichita Macaroni Kid with a valid email address. All entrants must be subscribers to East Wichita Macaroni Kid e-newsletter during the contest period (August 10, 2014 – August 31, 2014 at 11:59 pm EST) to be eligible. By participating, all entrants agree to these Official Rules. All entries must be in the form of a comment with a unique and valid email address.

This Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia, and U.S. Military personnel (and their families) with APO/FPO addresses, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Participation in this Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules.

Macaroni Kid assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, problems or technical malfunctions of any computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of human error, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of website, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Giveaway. Disputes/Governing Law/Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising out of this sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the state of New York, without reference to its choice of law rules. By participating in this giveaway, all participants submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the state of New York for resolution of any disputes arising hereunder. 

Release: By entering and participating, entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify: (i) Macaroni Kid, LLC, and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers and advertising and promotion agencies; and (ii) the sponsor identified above from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to: (i) entrant’s participation in the Giveaway, or (ii) entrant’s participation in any Prize-related activities (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s))

Winner Information: Winners’ first name and last initial will be posted on this page after it is drawn. 

Privacy Policy: It is Macaroni Kid’s privacy policy not to share, sell, loan, or rent entrant’s contact information (name, email address, Twitter handle, etc.) to any third party. However, by entering into this sweepstakes you consent to allowing Macaroni Kid to contact you via email to alert you if you have won. In addition, in the event you win, your contact information may be shared with the prize provider for the purposes of facilitating the delivery of your prize.

The prize is a Precious Moment figurine. 

WINNING:

On or about September 1, 2014, East Wichita Macaroni Kid will select one (1) winner in a random drawing from all eligible entries during the Sweepstakes Period. The odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries. The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The contest is sponsored by East Wichita Macaroni Kid, llc whose decisions regarding all aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding. On or about September 1, 2014, winner will be notified by the valid email submitted for entry and may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (unless prohibited by law) and any other documents required by Macaroni Kid, which must be returned to and received by Macaroni Kid within seven (7) calendar days of notification. If the winner does not contact Macaroni Kid within 24 hours, declines to accept a prize, or in the event that a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the winner will be disqualified and Macaroni Kid may elect, at its own discretion, to select an alternate winner.
