Slow Cooker Italian Meat

Ingredients

* I often substitute Italian Seasoning for the individual seasonings....shortcuts are great if you can find them :) 

1. Combine water with salt, ground black pepper, oregano, basil, onion salt, parsley, garlic powder, bay leaf, and salad dressing mix in a saucepan. Stir well, and bring to a boil. ** If you are are in a hurry like I am usually.....I dump it all in on top of the roast without messing with the first step HAHA

2. Place roast in slow cooker, and pour salad dressing mixture over the meat.

3. Cover, and cook on Low for 10 to 12 hours, or on High for 4 to 5 hours. When done, remove bay leaf, and shred meat with a fork. 


I usually serve this on hamburger buns with a miracle whip/real mayo mixture, lettuce and tomatoes. And I make barbecue type sides to go with it. Potato salad, macaroni salad, etc. 

Another plus to this meat, besides being a crock pot meal.....it is delicious the next day cold on your sandwich also :)
